Hidden

She wills nilly silly laughter
and diffuses caustic toxic banter.
The crowd's mood lightens;
and explodes into a chaotic canter.
She smiles at greeting smilies, like simpletons
and hugs long lost lust now attached
to a frowning meddling medusa with a menacing mein.
Yet, she, oblivious, disregards the smelly stares
at her long lanky languid runner's legs
and looks down at unsipped wine
which claret reflection reveals
insipid
lonliness
nobody but she can see,
a somber reveille
